New Mums Massage

This treatment has been developed to address the specific needs of new mums. Feel free to come in pairs, when one mum is receiving the treatment, the other can take care of the babies in the other room, enjoying a cup of tea and then swap.

Who is it good for - New Mums, in particular when you:

  • Carry your child on your hip, in a baby carrier or sling
  • Are sleep deprived
  • Suffer from aching neck, shoulders, back and arms
  • Breastfeed
  • Lead an active lifestyle as well as being a new mum

After a massage you will feel a:

  • Clear loosening of tight muscles and joints
  • Improved quality and length of sleep
  • Improved range of movement
  • Mental relaxation and calming effect as well as feeling re-energized
  • Improved blood and lymphatic circulation
New Mums Massage

Each session is tailored to your needs - A New Mums massage is performed on the back, neck, shoulders and arms. If you have particular requirements we can discuss it and decide what suits you best. Although the typical type of pressure is firm, the strength can be varied from soft to deep pressure in accordance with your needs. The treatment utilises a variety of techniques specifically designed to target and loosen the tensions, break down the knots and relax the muscles.

How does it work - As an experienced massage therapist, all of my treatments are carried out in a professional manner. Full nudity is not required and during treatments only areas being worked upon are exposed while modesty is maintained with the use of towels to respect your privacy at all times.

Your first visit will include an additional 10 minutes consultation prior to the session in order to ascertain your health and the treatment outcomes you want to achieve. At the end of each treatment and to maintain the benefits longer in time some aftercare advice and active stretching exercises will be provided as well as a feedback.
